Take 1 Action online Film Festival to 27 September

24 September 2020

Since 2008, Take One Action Film Festivals have engaged tens of thousands of people with hundreds of world-class films, showcasing inspiring stories that explore issues of global concern and providing training for budding and experienced changemakers.
.   .   .   .
The current global health crisis has forced most festivals to radically re-think their delivery. Once we opted to offer all our screenings and events online, we set out to put together a programme that we would have been excited to share with audiences in cinemas and community venues – and vowed to make the most of the nimbleness a digital festival offers.

Our 2020 edition runs from 16 – 27 September. Like every Take One Action Film Festival, it showcases some of the most urgent, inspiring and challenging international cinema exploring social and environmental justice – but, for the first time, all our films and events can be accessed from anywhere in the UK.

The format will be mostly a Q&A session. Those who register to attend will be asked to submit any questions they have in advance (we will attempt to have an answer for the meeting).

The meeting will be held on Webex and details of how to join will be passed to those who have registered by 21st September.
